Wanstead House prices soar during Olympics...

This was in the Guardian today, showing rents in the Olympics area. There's a red splodge (= high rental cost) right over our house showing how expensive it is. Right at the top on the right, next to Wanstead tube. (Under where the key says '500-550').

There's another high price area where we used to live in Bow, maybe it's us who gentrify places

An Olympic Gold Medal

Surprisingly stylish aren't they? Could be a bit shinier though...
The one on the right is for the Paralympics, it has a braille inscription on.

Jubilympics!

While mindful of Buckingham Palace's request to keep the Games and the Jubilee separate occasions; here are some pictures of the Queen and the Royal Family at Epsom Downs  today...

Pat's hand is on the left and Will's head to the right. HMQ is in the back of the car.

Here's Princess Eugenie (or Beatrice. One of them, anyway), with the Duke of Edinburgh behind...

And this is Her Majesty watching the Derby winner. And that's Sophie Wessex's hat getting in her way on the left
